Binti Salha Foundation is a Non-Government Organization established in 2017 and registered in 2019 by Ministry of Health, Community Development, Elderly and Children of Tanzania under the Non-Governmental Organizations Act, 2002.
This organization aims at advocating for Adolescent girls’ and Young Women’s rights to education and Health in Tanzania.
This includes key challenges that limits Adolescent girls’ and Young Women’s rights to education and health ensuring that these rights are given to all human beings regardless of their gender and age.
Binti Salha Foundation in collaboration with Salama Foundation is launching a project titled Tanzania Youth Champions (TYC) that aims on creating awareness to youth advocates on Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights.
1.Aged between 15-21 years old who are either in school or out of school
2.Active and ready to engage and commit on SRHR issues
3.Ready to volunteer and available to engage with TYC project for at least 10 month
4.Passionate, self-driven and knowledgeable on SRHR issues,Human rights and Gender Issues.
5.Lives in Temeke district or Kigamboni District Dar es Salaam.
6.Can read, write and speak English and Swahili Language.
NB:*People living with disabilities and people living with HIV/AIDS will be given equal chance to participate and be selected.
*Be part of a certain circle of influence or youth social networks.
