Deadline: Friday 13 December 1700 GMT
‘Field Ready’ is an employability programme for the brightest engineering talent in Ghana.
It is unlike any programme you’ll have come across before. The programme has been designed by some of the world’s leading companies to support recent engineering graduates to develop the skills and experiences you need to access great job opportunities.
Field Ready offers students the opportunity to develop practical technical skills, applied personal skills and to gain real field experience whilst they participate in the programme.
‘Field Ready’ is not a qualification. It is a statement which specialists from many different industries make about students who successfully complete the programme. It is the ultimate employment reference.
The programme has been designed to train a select group of students and then match them with employers. You’ll have a mentor from a company from the very beginning to guide you through the programme.
Field Ready students sign a Student Bond which commits them to completing the programme and working with your sponsoring company for a minimum of 12-months. The bond sets out our expectations and explains what Field Ready students can expect from the programme.
What do you need to do next?
To apply for the programme, you need to:
- Be a Ghanaian Citizen.
- Be under 27 years old
- Have an engineering qualification from a university or college at either 2:1, Merit or above
- Have completed your National Service
To be considered for the Field Ready programme please email us a personal statement explaining why you would like to join the programme. This should be emailed to us at email@example.com by 5pm UK time on Friday 13 December 2019.
From this we will create a shortlist of students, who will be emailed an application form as the next stage of the selection process.
The Field Ready application process is confidential, as stated in our terms and conditions, and by returning your personal statement to us, you agree to adhere to this.
Note: Students who are currently due to complete their National Service in August 2020 are NOT eligible to apply to cohort 4.
Please note, you must state in your personal statement that you have completed your NSS already. Any statements that do not include this will not be considered.
